Michael Allen has 25+ years experience in the asset management of hotels, apartments, office buildings, and retail centers.  Having graduated from The University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce (the nation's top undergraduate business school), Michael has built on his strong finance background to become an hospitality industry leader focusing on eMarketing and ecommerce for hotels.  Michael was along side his father, A. Lewis Allen, when Allen Management Group [AMG] was founded in 1973. Michael's strengths stress comprehensive reviews, attention to basics, innovative marketing and insistence on quality has produced superior returns for Allen Management's clients, as well as gaining recognition and awards from franchisors.  Allen Management Group is the culmination of Michael's 25 plus years of success in all phases of hotel management. His experience is reflected in the breadth and comprehensiveness of AMG's management package. Michael is active in industry trade associations and franchisor advisory boards, Michael has served in numerous executive positions with the VHTA, ELFA, and Choice Hotels Internationals franchisee advisory panels.

Farzin Sarabi has 15+ years experience in the operation of hotels.  Having graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and and the University if Texas at Austin, Farzin brings a passion for people and service built through a lifetime of travel and exposure to world cultures.  Farzin is the person who coordinates all Allen Management Group departments in delivering a seamless management package maximizing the potential of every aspect of your hotel.  He is the ultimate hospitality generalist, having successfully worked in all phases of hotel operation and management. Farzin's 20 year career has taken him from Night Auditor to Vice President and everything in-between. Farzin believes success in hotels comes from never forgetting the basics. Costs must always be monitored; service standards must always be maintained; and every facet of the product must always be the best it can be.

Claudia Davenport has 20+ years experience in hospitality marketing revenue management.  Having started as a field hospitality sales professional and worked her way up in the industry, Claudia's has been recognized as an industry leader in limited service hotel marketing focusing on revenue and yield management through all Central Reservation and eDistribution revenue channels.  With guest expectations continuing to rise, the need for motivated, knowledgeable and guest-focused team members on our sales force has never been greater. The need for a strong sales effort along with sales training and development is crucial and is a dynamic and challenging role which Claudia takes seriously.  Claudia's industry experience that includes broad-based sales and marketing expertise in multiple segments of the travel industry.  We consider sales and marketing to be critical to a property’s success. Claudia and her team of experts oversee market analysis, positioning, revenue strategy, yield and demographic analysis as well as the company’s internet marketing initiatives. To accomplish these tasks, Claudia works with her corporate team to ensure that each property develops a marketing strategy and oversees its successful execution.  “Everybody Sells” is our company’s battle cry, from Sales Directors to Guest Service Personnel to our Rooms Care Associates (Maintenance and Housekeeping) everyone in our organization receives sales training.  Focusing on the idea that the hotel Sales Department is the only sales force at the property level is a thing of the past.  Each and every person on our properties sell each with their own set of duties.

Velma Wormley as Corporate Controller supervises a group charged with overseeing the financials for all managed and owned properties.  Her department manages all banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly financial statements, guidelines, internal hotel audits, payrolls, tax documents for all employees and employee benefits/insurance.  Velma has more than fifteen years of experience in the hotel/motel industry. However, like many of our key people, she also has experience in other related fields.  Her career began in the landscape nursery industry, where she gained a firsthand understanding of quality and customer satisfaction. Her transition to a hotel management company was accompanied by a shift into a financial career.  Velma is relentless in her search for cost savings and opportunities for effective allocation of financial resources. However, she also understands the importance of exceeding guest expectations.  This blend of tough financial discipline and insistence on delivering a quality experience makes Velma a rare find in the financial arena. She is not only a cost-cutter, but also a motivator continually pushing her team to find ways to deliver quality in the most efficient manner.  She and her team provide the guidance and benchmarks you need to have your property reach its full potential.

With 25+ years of hospitality ownership in Virginia and West Virginia, Allen Management, is one of the best lodging management companies available that can effectively adapt to today's competitive environment.

Allen Management began its operations in 1973, when A. Lewis Allen, its Chairman Emeritus saw the opportunity to offer operational expertise for other owners of hotels and motels in the Mid-Atlantic.

Throughout the last three decades Allen Management increased its marketing knowledge by expanding into different markets, urban, highway, and resort throughout Virginia and West Virginia. In addition, it has worked actively with both franchisee and franchiser organizations and companies throughout the nation to increase its expertise in franchise relations and contracting. Most notably its Chairman received national recognition for his work in the area of strengthening the franchisee.
